    • Hello,

Thanks for commenting on this event. The annual UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues is currently taking place in New York and every year indigenous people from the Northern and Southern Philippines come to participate. Please expect a sharing or event with indigenous people held by organizations from BAYAN USA and GABRIELA USA here in New York City.

Also, please visit http://cpaphils.org/ to follow the issues and campaigns of the indigenous people in the Northern part of the Philippines, in the Cordillera region.

      Thanks,
      Valerie Francisco

  1. I’ve been researching the IP in the Philippines for quite sometime now and i can see that they really are oppressed not only by the foreign multinational companies but our own countrymen as well.

Could you give me some insights regarding issues on IP’s in the Philippines? It would be really be a great help. Thanks!
